This Business Development Representative is responsible for client recruitment for Foundation-Management and Pro Productions along with generating sponsorship revenue for our non-profit clients. This role will require you to build relationships, schedule meetings and appointments with potential clients and donors and identifying new business opportunities. This position will integrate sponsorship sales, tickets, signage and activations through corporate marketing, promotions, digital and social advertising, hospitality, media, community programs and any other marketing resources in development of these corporate marketing relationships.


  • Lead and fully execute key initiatives that support the organization’s sales strategy
  • Conduct sales conversations with key decisions makers via inbound and outbound phone calls, in and out of office meetings/presentations and other effective means
  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods in addition to strategic and organized follow up with sales provided by the organization
  • Develop sales presentations for new business prospects, create PowerPoint proposals to include research of category and clear understanding of prospects business needs
  • Create and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through various means
  • Work to achieve and meet individual and team goals established at start of each fiscal year
  • Assist in developing long-term renewal strategy for all partners


  • Oversee assigned department projects
  • Attend all events to ensure fulfillment of partnership, as well as, entertaining current and prospective partners
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Business, Hospitality, Sports Management, Marketing, or other related field
  • Must have at least 2 years of sales experience
  • Must be a confident communicator, including both written and verbal skills, and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to actively engage new business partners in scheduling appointments through phone calls, meetings, events, networking, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks
  • Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items
  • Proven ability to influence decision making
  • Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
  • Proven relationships with regional brands; local marketplace knowledge with local contacts preferred
  • Proven ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to read, interpret and provide feedback on partnership agreements
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present point of view in varied business situations
  • Strong MS office skills including PowerPoint and Excel
